Other Airports
If you are not flying from London it's easiest to fly to one of the two airports in Rome and make your way to Rome Termini Train Station. There are direct flights from Berlin, Birmingham, Bristol, Cork, Glasgow and Manchester.
From Rome Termini train station you can get the two-hour direct train to Santa Maria degli Angeli train station (Assisi train station) which is less than a 15 min transfer to our venue. You can book train tickets here (need link).
If you wish to drive to our venue from one of the major international airports the drive times are:
Rome Ciampino (CIA) – 2h20 mins drive
Rome Fiumicino (FCO) – 2h 30mins drive
Florence (FLR) - 2 hour drive
Pisa ()- 2h 50mins drive
For flight options, we recommend a flight comparison site like skyscanner.

Alternative Transport Options
If you are not keen on flying it is possible to travel to Assisi using public transport options from the UK or by driving.
We have previously made the journey by car and can highly recommend stopping in Nancy (France), Berne (Switzerland) and Lake Como (Italy) to break up your journey and explore some beautiful cities and towns on the way.
Travel from the airport/ train station
Shuttle (Recommended Option)
We will be arranging a free shuttle from Perugia Aiport, Assisi city centre and Santa Maria degli Angeli train station on the afternoon of the 9th June and a return journey on the afternoon of 11 June to coincide with flights to the UK and train times to Rome Termini.
We will let you know the exact timings of the shuttle once flight times have been released.
Car Hire
There are car rental companies available at all the airports listed above (Hertz, Avis, Europcar etc) and you can search for quotes using car hire comparison websites like this. There is plenty of free parking at our venue available for you to use.

Please note that our venue is in the remote Italian countryside so you will need to feel comfortable driving on fast, narrow and winding country roads. To drive in Italy, you must have held a licence for two years, and you always need to have your driving licence on you.
Taxi
If you would prefer not to drive and you are arriving outside the times of our shuttle you can get a taxi. It's unlikely that there will be taxis waiting outside of Perugia airport or Santa Maria train Station so we suggest if you are using this option you pre-book.

You can do this by contacting Francesco Angeli Taxis on: +39 333 494 2170. He can be contacted on whats app and speaks good English.
